Windy City Guitars takes pride in its expertise in handling Gibson electric guitars. Founded in 1902 by stringed instrument specialist Orville Gibson, Gibson Brands, Inc., formerly known as Gibson Guitar Corp., sells a variety of guitars under different brand names.
One of its most influential products is the Les Paul, the company’s first ever solid-body electric guitar. First made in the 1950s, the Les Paul was designed by jazz guitarist Les Paul himself and Gibson chief Ted McCarty. Over the years, the model has undergone makeovers to improve its overall build.
Aside from having handled different iterations of the Les Paul, Windy City Guitars has worked with other Gibson models such as the Explorer and the Flying V.
